Flying Pandora Designs is synonymous with me; Karen Johnson. I am a textile designer, illustrator and fine artist living in San Francisco. I have over 30 years of experience in design, mostly in textiles. I have worked solo and as an in-house designer. Technology has given an array of amazing tools, however, I still love starting the process with paint on paper. I prefer starting with painting or drawing, then making color and repeat edits in Photoshop.
